Oxjam bedford

Well this was another crazy day for New Groove massive. Wednesdays are always a little tough for gig night because unfortunately we all have to work. So headlining a show after a 10 hour day means we have to dig deep and pull it out of the bag. But we were playing for a really good cause Oxjam, which runs for the whole of October holding music events raising money for Oxfam. Also we were being supported by Sub Division and Karl Phillips & the Mid Night Ramblers who always whip up a party so getting in the mood wasn’t a problem. Both bands before us played wicked sets then it was time for us to do what we do. Now for a wednesday there was a good turn out in the corn exchange in Bedford but all the people were hanging in groups round the edge. So it was time for Quinny to work his magic and with the rest of the band like the pied pipers we got everyone close to the stage. Then we started the NGF workout the only way we know how; hard intense jumping and skanking for an hour. The crowd responded so well it was such an enjoyable gig. With keith’s break dancing to start it off, none of us could stop laughing. Thanks Oxjam for having us come and play and to everyone who came out on the school night I hope we raised lots of money. see you next time!!!!!
